RiRi for i-D appreciation post

If you didn't see the images from Rihanna's cover shoot for i-D magazine plastered all over social media yesterday... where were you?!

Inspired by 90s RnB mixed with the current popular grunge-chic trend (one that I am a huuuuge fan of) RiRi looked flippin' gorgeous.

These are by far my two favourite photos from what I've seen. I think they're just so stunning. From her hair, to her makeup and accessories, everything is perfect. The makeup compliments her darker skin tone and green eyes perfectly and I really prefer her with a more edgy, urban look to be honest - it reminds me of her 'We Found Love' phase when she had blonde hair and kind of outgrown roots. If only I could pull off this look... *sigh* the downfalls of not being a beautiful pop star with perfect skin tone and bone structure. So, yeah I loved it so much I had to dedicate a post to this shoot.

On another note, if you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed my recent visit back to London. It was just a short return to see my sister and friends, but I managed to pack in as much as I can. This visit included lots of drinking, eating and even adding a new piercing to my body!

One of my favourite ways to cure a hangover is with The Breakfast Club and being back in Liverpool it's something I've missed. It's also a plus that the food is so photogenic tasty.

Debuting my new Missguided choker with an iridescent crop top and my favourite duster coat from Urban Outfitters. (Oh, and I got the iPhone 6 btw).

I'm just going to end this post with an awfully accurate Instagram post feat. Homer Simpson:

And on that note I'm off to bed to binge on Netflix and eat copious amounts of snacks.
