A Day in the Life: My Halloween

I used Halloween as an excuse to go to London last week and it was so much fun that I took a few photos and thought I'd share my weekend with you.

I managed to drag the spooky holiday out for FOUR whole days, something I've never done before, and we started early on the Wednesday night with some pumpkin carving. This was my first experience carving pumpkins and I must say I am proud of the result:
(mine was the middle one)

For actual Halloween night I decided to be a vampire and even wore a cape and fangs, which went down well. I tend to go all out on Halloween, and prefer the scary look, so I basically covered myself in face paint and fake blood.

And then on the Saturday there was a music festival going on in Camden called Nightmare in Camden which we used as a valid reason not to lie in bed all day feeling sorry for ourselves, and it actually turned out to be really fun. However, we couldn't have started the day without a stodgy meal to cure our hangovers from the night before...

Yes, that's right, we indulged in a visit to The Diner, and we went all out. If you follow me on Instagram you'll know that this place has been known to be somewhat of a second home to me in my time in London, and so it was only right to revisit this place while I was back there.

I didn't manage to take any proper outfit photos while I was there as it was a pretty hectic few days, but I have taken some in Liverpool so they will be posted very soon.
