Something in the way you move, makes me feel like I can't live without you

(Rihanna ft. Mikky Ekko - Stay)

I've been a very busy bee this past week, as it was my birthday last Wednesday and if you follow me on Twitter you'll know that I am less than pleased to have turned the big 2-0. However, I've had practically no time to weep over no longer being a teenager, as I've been so busy. I also went home to Liverpool last weekend to see my family which I am looking forward to A LOT.

I went to the X Factor tour with my friend and it was GOOD. I'm going to be completely honest and say the only reason I wanted to go was to see James Arthur (and maybe a little of Rylan!) but it turns out they were all really entertaining. Some of the highlights of the night for me were James Arthur - he is unbelievably talented - and also Rylan singing a Spice Girls medley (it was so camp, I was in my element), and Union J, Ella and Jahmene were amazing too.

On Monday I went to Tate Modern for a uni project. It is my second year living in London and I had never been. I really enjoyed my visit to the gallery, and I'd urge anyone who lives nearby to definitely take a visit if they haven't already, it's definitely worth it. Here are some pieces I liked:

Tree of 12 Metres. Guiseppe Penone.

Violins Violence Silence. Bruce Nauman.

Situationist Apartment May '68. Dexter Dalwood.
(Definitely the piece I was most intrigued by)

Ok so this one isn't necessarily my favourite per se but isn't it creepy?!
Also, I've lost the artist and name of this piece (oops!) and can't find it anywhere, soz.

Things I'm looking forward to this week:
Finally finishing and handing in an essay
 Going to London Fashion Weekend
 Seeing One Direction
Hopefully getting better as I've been very ill lately
