Sweat pants, hair tied, chillin' with no make-up on, that's when you're the prettiest.

(Drake - Best I Ever Had)

My skincare routine constantly changes, so I thought I'd share with you my daily routine as of right now.

I use this Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2-in-1 face wash because not only can I use it as a daily scrub, but it is also a mask, so once a week I use the mask to get right in to my pores and give my skin a deep clean. I also do this whenever my skin gets particularly bad. I've always had a bit of an issue with face scrubs, because I never found one with the right balance - either they dried out my skin, or just didn't seem to work much at all. But, I saw someone mention it in a Youtube video a couple of years ago (can't remember who... oops!) and she said she had the same problem, so I tried it, and I haven't used a different one since. I always notice a difference in the clarity of my skin straight away. It's also good to use in the shower of a morning.

I use this Clean & Clear Oil Free Blackhead Clearing cleanser every day to cleanse and tone my skin. I like it because it doesn't irritate my skin in any way, and I feel fresh afterwards. It's also oil free so I don't have to worry about my skin feeling greasy or looking shiny.

Simple products are always very gentle on the skin, and although my skin isn't super sensitive, it has it's moments. I like that this is a light moisturiser and is oil balancing, so it doesn't enhance your oily complexion if you already have one, and because I have combination type skin, my skin can tend to get a bit oily at times. This product never makes my skin look shiny, so I like this product for that reason mainly.

Lip scrub:

Because I wear lipstick, lip tints, and lip glosses, quite regularly, I hate my lips getting dry, and so this Lush bubblegum flavoured sugary lip scrub not only tastes nice, but keeps my lips smooth, and gets rid of any dry skin. I try to use this daily, but realistically, I use it every other day.

Eye cream:

I have two types of eye products that I use. One is from the ASOS anatomicals range, which I have been using for a month or two now, and the other is Clinique All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage which I have been using for over a year. Both products pretty much do the same thing, but have different applications. The ASOS product is a gel and so I just apply it under my eyes with my finger, and the Clinique product is a roll on technique, which I prefer, because it is easy to apply, and it extremely soothing. This product seriously lasts forever as well, I've had this one a long long time, and it doesn't seem to go anywhere, so it is great value for money!

Eye make up remover:

I use this Nivea eye make up remover of a night to remove my mascara and eyeshadow. It doesn't irritate me, and is quick and easy.

Face wipes:

I always keep these Simple face wipes to hand as well, for when I get in after a night out, or am extremely tired, and I can't really be bothered with my whole routine, and just want to get my makeup off as quickly as possible. So, these are always useful to keep handy!

If all else fails:

I always keep a little Sudocrem handy, just in case my skin really is horrendous and I need an overnight fix. This isn't really in my daily routine, or even weekly routine, as I only really use it when my skin is at it's worst - so either I'm really stressed, or hormonal, or whatever, and I've had a breakout. It's definitely useful though!

  1. I used to use the Clean & Clear Blackhead clearing scrub. Never heard of the cleanser before now. Thanks for sharing.
